What an amazing weekend! by Alex Andrepont
This weekend my family and I traveled two hours south to their relatives farm house in Puren. The ride was a little long, but worth it because of the beautiful sites such as a rainbow and waterfall!
The family living on the farm grew most of the food we ate and also raised chickens and cows. They made this pizza Saturday night for dinner which includes the tomatoes and corn grown there. It was so humbling to be around such a hard working and generous family!
Sunday we drove two more hours south to the hot springs. We stayed there for the majority of the day and played in the snow.
As far as school goes, my first grade math classes are learning about ordinal numbers and subtraction while third grade is practicing division and word problems.
Andres was the first student to complete the ordinal numbers activity.
