¡Feliz Cumpleaños! = Happy Birthday!
One of the children in my host family had a birthday this weekend. I wondered how they would celebrate birthdays here but my experience was very similar to what may happen in the United States. We went bowling at the mall with a few of his friends and then we went for pizza. He got presents from each of his friends. Afterward, we went back to our house where the boys unpackaged all the gifts and played with them. We had snacks and drinks and of course birthday cake. It was a simple but successful birthday if you ask me! :D
